Montador...what was that fight?

At least this means that Sekera will get more ice time with Monty in the box for 5.

i'd rather he let his face get punched as a spark than him jumping into a rush

He could have been hurt from that hit. Give Monty a break. At least he tried to give a spark to raise the energy level.

Maybe, but I applaud anything that puts Sekera on the ice more and Monty less. And that includes Montador fighting.

It's just a really bad bounce, but he was slow to react to it.

Either way, apart from that, he's been good.

It was pure comedy though, that goal.

Ruff's getting desperate for offense.
Double-shifted HCP twice so far.

I would be surprised if that's the case.

That's too cruel a fate for the Sabres. If we are to lose it would be a late Jackets goal making it 2-0 followed by a useless last minute Sabres goal and a 2-1 L.

That being said I have a good feeling about this game for some reason.

The color guy says "Jurcina has one of the best shots in the NHL" as they flash the "1st goal since Dec 08" stat on the screen

I don't have an issue with that Lydman penalty as long as things are called both ways.... CBJ goal

Myers needed to get that puck out after Goose won the draw.

If the NHL was Buffalo, Columbus, and Ottawa, the Sabres would go 0-71-11 on the season.
