Other than his first fight against Orr and this one, Carkner really doesn't lose that many fights, so I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

Carkner and Orr are two of the toughest guys in the league. They both stand back and throw bombs which cause serious damage. But if you aren't playing defence at the same time, you may go down.

When the Leafs are having a season as they are, it is nice when we can find anything to cheer about. Whether it's a fight or a hit or the odd win ever 10 or so games, we get excited when there is something to cheer for.

Gotta give props to Orr. It appears to me he definitely does his best to keep Carkner's head from hitting the ice.

Nobody will ever call Matt Carkner a coward. Damn.

That's major league, wow. Dumb move by Carkner when his right hand is hurt, but he got destroyed.

Tough guy though, there'll be a round 4.

Carkner needs to change his startegy against Orr. He's a great fighter, but he needs to try to use his reach against him like McGrattan and Hordichuk did when they beat Orr.

It'll work when you fight the Tanner Glass and Steve Downie's, but against Colton Orr? Not very often.

At the start of the year i thought Carkner was going to be a light heavy type of guy. I thought i was right when he was fighting Downie, Bitz but this guy is a legit heavy.

Got to love his no defense style and just wants to throw hands. Hes earned my respect, if that means anything, hope he does not change his style and just keeps wanting to throw, even against legit heavies

It was meant that Carkner got his ass kicked by Orr, don't know why it's such a hard point to follow.

It's funny you say that, because you may have chosen one of the stupidest ways to say "got his ass kicked."

Let's review:

Now, at the beginning you sort of reference the fact that Carkner got dropped, so far so good, but then you go on and say "anyone in the league," suggesting that Carkner gets dropped no matter who he fights, which, as I pointed out, is incorrect. Then you suggest that because of the fact he gets rocked "fighting anyone in the league," Sens fans are "in trouble."

Need I point out further how moronic that post was?

Not to be childish or anything, but aren't you the one who took this off topic to begin with by asking if English was my first language?

They have made for some good fights so far this year, regardless of the result.

Actually Orr has been amazing on the forecheck all season and can hold his own defensively, so it'd be nice if you did some research before you clicked "Submit Reply" next time.

I can understand the nastiness though, considering all you Sens fans were hyped up after Carkner was able to get revenge on Colton on their last meeting, and now this happens.
