Well yeah he's a total asshat. All of the fights he gets in with our team. Oh man.

Much credit given to the Blue Jackets today on NHL Power Play.

Very surprised, but there it was; Jackets named biggest positive surprise.

Kudos given to The "New" coaching staff, Nash, Klesla, Mason and Garon, and the overall "balance and commitment" of the team.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have more wins than any other team in the Western Conference.

Who saw that coming?

Arniel's nephew Jamie made his NHL debut a couple days ago.

Two of the three major/well-known Columbus area teams have flashy advertising on a large marquee screen at CMH that used to show flight information.

Interestingly, Ohio State is not one of them.

Ottawa's Brian Lee has been put on waiver. What do you think, if we get the chance. Should we put in a claim?

Nope that ship has sailed. In no way shape or form would he be an upgrade.

No. He doesn't help anywhere.

Don't know where to put this:

So much for accountability I guess. Hitchcock would have gotten ripped on these boards for days for something like that. (Not that he shouldn't have.) Looking in from the outside, this move really baffles me.

Wow. Just...wow. That is SO the wrong move from a PR standpoint, I cannot even fathom it. And from a non-PR standpoint, it's just as hard to understand.

No words. Just wow, epic facepalm to the CBJ.

Some things just never change.

Meh. Doesn't really bother me, never really understood the hype about the practice schedule.

Maybe Arniel thinks a day off the ice would be beneficial mentally and/or physically? Who knows? Me, I'll trust Arniel to know what is best for the team.

That is sad. If I was coaching this team, who showed 0 heart in a 5-0 loss and then a 7-2 loss. I would bag skate the **** out of the team, to make sure they got the message that 0 heart performances will be punished.

I'll be much more concerned, and very surprised, if Arniel doesn't approach the upcoming Blues game in the same fashion he did before. It's at least somewhat reasonable to let the players rest right now, given their recent schedule. But there won't be any excuse after today's game, even if they win it.

I went and saw the Ohio St. games against Michigan. I didn't know Arniel's son played for the Bucks.

big boy, as a freshman. He is already bigger than quite a few players on the CBJ
