Carter has actually been playing pretty well lately. A bit surprised that he's not on, but more not. Gagné has been kind of unimpressive and he also had little time to make an impression due to injury.

That is an absolutely disgusting roster. Every line is ridiculous.

I do not see how this team could possibly lose.

This team might give them a good go: Go Canada Two!

St. Louis-Lecavalier-Doan
Gagne-Carter-Ryan Smyth
Lucic-J Staal - Sharp
Cleary-Brad Richards-Stamkos
McDonald-Roy-Penner

Bouwmeester-Phaneuf
Regehr-Marc Staal
Hamhuis-Robidas
Beauchemin-Burns
Green

would have preferred richards been left off. Maybe he acquires some of the professionalism that the other guys bring.

Really? I've seen Canadian teams that looked a lot better on paper. A lot better. You know #99 and 66 Coffe etc etc.. those guys.

cant complain with Carter and Gagne being left off.
Gagne's injury and Carters inconsistant play this season probably hurt them.
congrats to Richards and Pronger.
congrats to Doughty as well. He is a kid I was hoping would make it.

Obviously Yzerman wasn't worried about his professionalism, conditioning or partying. He might get 'bring the keg' responsibilities too....

It would have been great if only Pronger made it. And then he wore his gold medal to practice every day. And around his neck while traveling. And between shifts.

Or maybe had it frozen in the ice. Just to remind all the other players what they missed out on due to sucking.

Hopefully this will help Richards, getting to play with the best in the NHL and learn from them.

Not trying to derail the thread, but Timonen, Pitkanen, Kukkonen and Niittymaki have all made the Finish Roster. Pyörälä has, as expected, not.

I hope they medal and then Kukkonen rubs his sweaty balls all over his before letting Stevens hold it for a minute. Hopefully Stevens' wife is there too so she can hold the medal and say, "Hmm... something about this medal smells familiar..."
