OT: Toskala is happy to be gone!

ANAHEIM - It looked awkward to see Vesa Toskala in his Toronto Maple Leafs goalie mask juxtaposed against his Ducks practice jersey when he took the ice Sunday.
Toskala had been idled for six days waiting for a work visa to join the team, but he still had his old mask.

He was eager to shed it for a new one.
"Hopefully soon," Toskala said. "So I can wash that blue and white out of my gear."
Expunging his Maple Leafs tenure from memory is understandable for Toskala, whose forgettable stint with Toronto ended Jan. 31 when he was traded to the Ducks with winger Jason Blake for goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere.

We're bitter? Maybe we wouldn't be bitter if he didn't let in 4 goals a game. Maybe if he wasn't the worst goalie in the league. MAYBE if he stopped being an ignorant ***** and ignoring the FACTS that the team was terrible BECAUSE of him.

The fact that Gust and Toskala weren't together in the locker room should raise alarms. Even when you listen to Gust or Jiggy in interviews, their attitudes towards their play/game are so much better.

Hey, I'm just as a happy to see the back of him as everyone else. I just don't get what the big deal is regarding what he said. He should have been replaced a long time ago. Nevertheless, Who expects to him have a warm fuzzy feeling about his time in TO? I think Blakes pretty happy to be gone as well.
