What would you guys want for Coburn, by what I have been reading from PHI fans it sounds like he might be available? I know a dman would have to come back so NIck Schultz coming back plus what for him or what would it take?

A young PMD or, if Coburn is part of a package, a #1 defenseman.
In other words, unless your moving Justin Schultz or your 2013 1st, there's really not a deal to be made.
He's had a rough year. I think he was likely injured for a lot of it. We will need him going forward, so I probably wouldn't trade him to be honest. If I were going to, it would take a return that would be kind of painful to let go.

Coburn + 4th (2014) + Conditional Pick(s) (Whitney Signing) for Klefbom + 1st (2014 protected/conditional, top 5/10 or something along those lines, becomes unprotected 2015 1st if not awarded in 2014 draft) + rights to UFA Ryan Whitney. This would be my frame work for a deal.
I'd do it for Edmonton's 2013 1st, if it's a high enough pick I'd even be willing to add a pick going back, a 3rd maybe. If it's a 2014 1st I'd say Edmonton would have to add a prospect with some value. I'm not going to overvalue him. I think a change of scenery and maybe a different coaching style would be a better fit for him. Having two top picks in this years draft and possibly taking two defenseman would really get things moving in the right direction for us I think so I'd be willing to do it for less this year.

If the Oilers are to move their first, this is the year they'd do it considering their recent moves in the front office, and the widely documented urgency to perform that they have, along with MacT's continued use of 'risk'.
They know they need more depth at defence and forward, toughness etc, and aren't going to want to wait for an 18 year old player to come around, like they have with Yakupov, RNH, Hall, Eberle, MPS.
Coburn for their 2013 1st seems fair to me (At its current position). If they continue to tank, we likely have to add.
This is a deal I make at the draft, only if a player they want, has fallen to that pick, such as Nurse. Then use our second 1st in combination with something else (Read?) for a young puck moving NHL'er.
While thats true, flyers fan asking for Justin Schultz for him is completely asinine.
Edmonton doesn't have a fair value player to swap for him. They are either too valuable (Schultz) or not valuable enough (all of the rest of their defenseman and defensive prospects)
The 2013 1st is interesting. I doubt Edmonton would do it

Then throw in a couple of picks or a decent prospect on the Flyers' side.
Problem solved.
Yeah, the "younger" one having much higher potential. I'd take Schultz over Coburn any day and I'm sure you would too. Don't care if he's unproven.
A higher potential and lower floor, yes.
I'd take Schultz over Coburn at this point because his skillset better meets the team's needs--not because I necessarily believe he will be a better all-around player. (He could be, someday, but that's far from certain).

Does that make sense?
It does, but I disagree. Arguably Schultz is a better player right now..
