Do your own mock draft. Kings fans only.

I listed my mock awhile ago and thought I would list the updated version of it and in the spirit of the "who will win the playoffs" thread thought it might be fun to do a mock draft now and see who got the closest.

You can list anyone you want at any position you want and use any information to formulate your opinions.

I will bump the thread up on draft day and we can see who got the closest.

Here is mine. I have changed it based on reading through all of the various reports and articles I could find on the webby. Russianprospects has a wealth of information as do a couple of other sights. Give it a go and have fun!

1st round
1. Washington Capitols - Alexander Ovechkin
2. Pits Penguins - Yevgeny Malkin
3. Chicago Blackhawks - Cam Barker
4. Columbus Bluejackets - Al Radulov
5. Poenix Coyotes - Radislav Olesz
6. New York Rangers - Lauri Tukonen
7. Anahiem Mighty Ducks - Drew Stafford
8. Florida Panthers - A.J. Thelen
9. Carolina Cyclones(; - Marek Schwarz
10. Atlanta Thrashers - Andrew Ladd
11. Los Angeles Kings - Rob Schremp
12. Minnesota Wild - Alexander Picard
13. Buffalo Sabres - Enver Lisin
14. Edmonton Oilers - Wes Oniel
15. New York Islanders - Wojtek Wolski
16. Nashville Predators - Boris Valibak
17. St. Louis Blues - Mike Green
18. Montreal Canadiens- Kyle Chipchura
19. Calgary Flames - Alvaro Montoya
20. Dallas Stars - Dave Bolland
21. Vancouver Canucks - Jakub Sindel
22. New Jersey Devils - Oscar Hedman
23. Ottawa Senators - Kirill Lymin
24. New York Rangers (TOR) - Brian Bickell
25. San Jose Sharks - Adam Berti
26. Washington Capitals (BOS) - Carl Söderberg
27. Colorado Avalanche - Johan Franson
28. Edmonton Oilers (PHI) -Evan Mcgrath
29. Tampa Bay Lightning - Ladsilav Smid
30. Washington Capitals (DET) - Lukas Kaspar

Second round. Since I have been asked about allot of the players I have listed and about second rounders, i have given a short thought or two on each of these lads.
I also don't have the who picks where bit but fancy that they will go in this order.

31. David Schantz- He established himself as a dandy in the post season.
32. Andrej Meszaros. Skilled two way player with nice wheels.
33. Cory Schneider- Had a great U18 and will likely make some second round noise.
34. Roman Voloshenko- Would be higher if he were faster. Great hands.
35. Blake Wheeler- See Boyle from last year. HS tops player.
36. Petteri Nokelainen- Could go in the first round. Karlson type with skills.
37. Lauri Korpikoski- My draft board mate loves him. I don't know, he looks good.
38. Adam Pineault- Fast great hands questionable head. Could make it.
35. Johannes Salmonsson- Would be a top 20 if he weren't injury prone.
37. Devan Dubnyk- Third best goalie in draft.
38. Travis Zajac- Love this kid.
39. Roman Tesliuk- Has Anshankov written all over him as to his being ingnored.
40. David Booth- Not the best skater but plays tough. Klatt type.
41. Paul Stastny- Has skills like but needs time to prove his self.
42. Mikhail Yunkov- See Pushkaryev for upside. See Federov for down.
43. Kyle Wharton- If he makes it, all will wonder why he were skipped.
44. Sergei Ogorodnikov- See Anshankov for upside, see Lyubshin for down.
45. John Lammers- Plays an energy game and hits like a train. Needs to score more.
46. Justin Peters- See Munce. Solid skills fast feet, needs work.
47. Alexei Emelin- Scrawny but skilled. Fast but needs time.
48. Roman Tomanek- Great Job at U18s. Not a finisher yet, could be though.
49. Ryan Garlock- Andy Murray type who will be a solid character player in NHL.
50. Vaclav Meidl- GIANT with skills when he wants to use them. Either god or goat.
51. T.J. Hensick- USA had a great season. I feel he has NHL skills.
52. Sami Lepisto- One of the top snipers of the entire draft. Will it translate to NHL?
53. Andy Rogers- Could be a dandy checking grinder type if only....
54. Martins Karsums- Exciting fast solid player, late second steal.
55. Juraj Gracik- Jens Karlson type Power Forward. If he makes it.
56. Alex Pluschyev- Hands like a god, head like a brick..
57. Bruce Graham - Centermen that could sneak higher up.Talented fast streaky.
58. Kris Chuko- LW who should be a center.Looks to pass first. Could go higher.
59. Mark Fistric - Defencemen who could end up a second/third pairing.Safepick.
60. Jeff Shultz - 6'6" who just turned 18. He could opt out.If he is drafted this year he could go allot higher. Talented fast big defencman. Mean.

He is a very good ofensive dman. He is underrated on these boards (maybe for being Slovakian, they are always overlooked), nice size, great stincts, not a safe pick but if Atlanta wants a nice d-man he is a pontetial #1

Ummm sorry to disappoint but now that Burns is a permanent resident on the blueline Minnesota is looking for a scoring punch to go with O'Sullivan, Daigle, Gaborik, Wallin and Dupuis.

These will be my final selection orders for the draft. Barring any trades (which will certainly happen) this is how I see the draft order of these prospects.

1. Washington Capitols - Alexander Ovechkin
2. Pits Penguins - Yevgeny Malkin
3. Chicago Blackhawks - Cam Barker
4. Columbus Bluejackets - Radislav Olesz
5. Poenix Coyotes - Al Radulov
6. New York Rangers - Rob Schremp
7. Florida Panthers - Andrew Ladd
8. Carolina Huricanes- Marek Schwarz
9. Anahiem Mighty Ducks- A.J. Thelen
10. Atlanta Thrashers - Lauri Toukonen
11. Los Angeles Kings - Drew Stafford (though, I could see Kings trading up 1)
12. Minnesota Wild - Alexander Picard
13. Buffalo Sabres - Boris Valabik
14. Edmonton Oilers - Alvaro Montoya
15. New York Islanders - Mike Green
16. Nashville Predators - Wojtek Wolski
17. St. Louis Blues - Enver Lisin
18. Montreal Canadiens- Kyle Chipchura
19. Calgary Flames - Wes Oniel
20. Dallas Stars - Dave Bolland
21. Vancouver Canucks - Jakub Sindel
22. New Jersey Devils - Oscar Hedman
23. Ottawa Senators - Carl Soderberg
24. New York Rangers (TOR) - Brian Bickell
25. San Jose Sharks - Adam Berti
26. Washington Capitals (BOS) - Kirill Lyman
27. Colorado Avalanche - Johan Franson
28. Edmonton Oilers (PHI) - Evan McGrath

I think the kings have a chance to get any of about 5 players that should or could possibly drop to them.

One of them is Schremp who I think the Kings dont have a #1 center, they have big guys and snipers but not a creative center...

next guy I can see dropping is Drew Stafford a strong RW at 6'2" 200 pounds, plays with Brady Murray. Could give us another strong forward with Dustin Brown and Frolov.

and we know about the 2 goalies Schwarz and Montoya...but for once I want them to pick the right one, in other words hopefully both are good and not the one the kings dont pick...
