What would it take to get BOS 1rst round pick (TOR)

What would it take to get the Bruins pick (toronto's for kessel)?
Imagine walking from the draft with Hall and Seugin?

A healthy Ales Hemsky or the Oilers own 1st.

Our first round pick. Eberle or MPS. Maybe Hemsky and our 2nd, probably with a prospect as well, although we'd have to take Ryder back on that one.

Apparently more than Kovalchuk if the reports were accurate. So I think it would be safe to assume nothing.

If we want an extra 1st rounder we should be focused on Boston's own 1st rounder. They are on the bubble, there is pressure to make the playoffs, and they already have TOR's 1st - their own first should definitely be in play.

As much as I'd love someone to acquire that pick from the Bruins, I'm not entirely certain its time to be proclaiming it the #2 pick just yet. The Leafs look like a different team post-trades, so who knows if that pick is in the top 5 at the end of the year, let alone 2nd.

Realistically though, if you guys did want it, I'm sure MPS, Eberle, or Hemsky would be their starting point.

Way out to lunch! Like really? Would you trade our 1st pick for a healthy Savard?

Its on loan to Kevin Lowe, he's trying to send himself back to the 03 draft to warn his past self that Nilsson won't be available where the Oilers are picking and that and he better trade up if he wants a shot at him.

The combined value of our entire roster wouldn't be enough. Katz would have to throw in a bunch of steroid prescriptions and travel coupons for them to even pick up the phone.

The only thing that get's the Bruins interested in dealing that pick is our own 1st round pick which won't be moved. The Bruins would have to add a player like Colbourne. No matter what we still don't move it and Boston likely doesn't like it either.

No, the Oilers wouldn't, but where the Bruins are, in terms of their organization, Ales Hemksy and say a 3rd would be close for the Bruins, because it would make them significantly better now, and in the future. It would help them progress even further as a contender, plus Hemmer is on a great contract.

It could also be something like, if everyone was Healthy

Hemsky and Souray/Gilbert for TOR 1st & 2nd, Ryder and Morris.

The Leafs are a bottom-3 team, to that there's no debate.

I disagree Boston needs a fix and need to move a bad contract. Plus with Toronto's latest trade they are looking better so a top 3 pick for them looks less certain.

I say Penner + a small fwd not Gagner/Brule/Cogliano for Tor 1st and Ryder.

It is possible.

It would be a dream, but not going to happen.

I would fucus more on Boston's own pick. that could be up for grabs for Grebs or something.

I don't think we shoot for Hall and Seguin. We shoot for Hall and Tarasenko.

First step is acquiring at least 1, ideally 2 more first rounders. Then we need to parlay that into a #4-8 pick.

I'd target Boston's 1st instead, better chance of getting it.

Visnovsky, Cogliano, and Edmonton's 3rd

for Ryder, Colbourne, and Boston's 1st

Think about what we would want from Boston for our pick. Then think if they would give it up. Then think if this could work. Then drink a beer. We are not getting Toronto's 1st. There is no way, no how. Unless we massively overpay which we are not going to do.
