Vladislav Luchkin

From Eruopean.com on a hawk prospect.

Vladislav Luchkin (Chicago Blackhawks) has found a new home with Molot Prikamye, where the young forward has become one of the club’s best scoring threats. He scored three goals for his club in the High League finals against Spartak Moscow, including the pair of tallies just two minutes apart in the end of the of the third and final game of the series. Luchkin tied the game 2:2 with just under five minutes left in the game when fought for the rebound in front of the net and put it behind the goalie. He then put his team ahead with his second tally with just three minutes left in the game when he beat Spartak’s Glebov five-hole after a nice feed from Stepanov.

This performance capped off a first productive season for the young forward (39 games 10G+17A +39 32PIM) after three years of struggles in the Super League. While the level of competition may be lower, the value of consistent ice time has been immense and hopefully the young forward will remain with Molot next season, when the club will make it’s return to the Super League (top two upper league clubs Spartak and Molot have been promoted to the Super League).

Good news. Always nice to hear about a performance like that from a 7th round pick. Give him another year in Russia, maybe just maybe, he will end up in Norfolk one day.
