Gotta go with Havlat, no question. Think he proved this year he's that much better than the other two.

If Gaborik didn't hold out probubly Gaborik. If Nagy didn't get injured probubly Nagy, but right now I think that Havlat is the best player of the three. But If I had to choose one for my team I would easily take Nagy.

Havlat. Even his ability to piss off other teams is a good quality.

As a sniper, Nagy for me. It has the best shot and the best release of the three.

God, you poor Eastern Conference fans.. are you that deluded? Havlat better than Gaborik? You are in for a world of wakeup next year. Gaborik is by far and away the most talented of the three, and one bad year somehow puts him in the toilet? You just watch, this kid is gonna put up a sick year one of these years.

I've still got Nagy ahead of Havlat, too.

Gaborik is a good player, no doubt. Nagy is too. But you look at how they've handled themselves this year. Particularly Gaborik and Havlat.

Both missed training camp and were forced to enter the season without a whole lot of playing experience. Gaborik was terrible for 3/4 of the season. The Wild set him up everywhere and I watched some of their games...it got kind of rediculous how they'd give up a good opportunity just to give it to Gaborik.

Havlat was always considered the Sens' 3rd RWer and he was often on their 3rd line. By no means was he the 'go-to' guy and he was just dominant at times.

Now Gaborik will obviously rebound next year...but Havlat is still the better player any way you put it.

WHAT??!!!! No, no, no, no. Minnesota never did what you say...we didn't "pass up chances". The ugly truth was this: If we did take the chances, we would waste them. We were that bad. Jacques chewed em' out a lot this season. At the middle of the season, he said he felt that we had accomplished NOTHING. Then, in Febuary, Gaborik got going, and a little later, we traded Bomber, Zho's, etc. and brought up Wallin and Veilleux and co. and we turned it around, but too late. At the end of the season, we were playing great, and Jacques said he felt we had accomplished something. We were bad most of the season. But at the end, we were back. That's why there has to be hockey next year. As for Gaborik and Havlat, I see one major difference. Gaborik has the ability to take over a game and win it by himself. He's done it too, he just needs to learn how to use his talent the right way and within the team concept, and Jacques is working with him on it. He's come a far war since coming over here, and has a way to go yet for sure. Havlat plays with a superior team, I could list the names. He's got a lot of talent, but I think that Gaborik...has that little something that either Havlat doesn't have, or hasn't shown yet. My opinion.

I agree Gaborik is the best offensive player of the three but IMO Nagy is the best sniper which is the poll question of this thread.

I suppose we're both just incredibly biased..because I'd say the opposite. Near the end of the year Havlat got on fire as well and he played incredible. At times, he did just take over the game and every shift was an opportunity..that's something Havlat is known for in Ottawa. You know he's playing his best when every time he's on there's a big chance.

Also..playing on a more talented team doesn't always increase point production and make you a better player. Perfect example is Kariya and Selanne in Colorado. When you have too much talent on a team production goes down a lot..and is far less than a player who basically carries their team.
