Fare thee well(thx for a great series)

Wow Montreal has some great fans, there had to have been over 10,000 people remaining after the game to cheer the Habs on. Thats unbelieveable, you guys sure love your hockey team.

Tampa Bay was lucky to catch you after a rough 7 game series. Before I could blink the Lightning were up 2-0, and game 3 I believe the true Habs came out; and should have won. Tonight was much the same. Whether it was luck, great timing, skill, or just destiny; the Lightning squeezed it out. Your Habs have great skill, good leadership, and a great goalie. Next year they will go VERY far.

Just remember, the Lightning were in similiar situation last season. After coming back from 0-2 down to beat the Capitals in round 1, they quickly lost 2 games to the Devils and eliminated in 5 games; matches they very well should have, could have, would have won.

I hope your team has a great offseason, and with a few more pieces and better defense, the Canadiens could very well be the Lightning of next season. So, from one Lightning fan to the true die hard Canadiens fans

GO HABS GO

Amen. I couldn't believe how empty the Fleet was immediately after game 7. Almost the entire lower bowl was empty (except for groups of Habs fans I saw talking on cell phones) before the 3 stars were announced. I'm proud of our team, and I'm glad the crowd passed that on for all of us who couldn't attend.

The Lightning fully deserve their victory. They proved over an 82-game season that they were the best team in the East. Also they show up for every game and they play hard 60 minutes per game, something the Habs haven't learn yet.

It was still a damn good season for the Habs. We'll be back next year, if NHL hockey is played at all next year. Rome wasn't built in a day but, please Mr Gainey don't take another 5 years. It's already been 11 years.

Good luck Tampa.

Lil St Louis is an amazing player, don't let him go. But he isn't the only oone who impressed me. A good team well balanced and that plays a different type of hockey. Very enjoyable to watch.

Wish you the best.
