well, Bogo should be sitting, but i doubt that happens.

We can hate on Pops, but should at least acknowledge a good game from him, he was rock solid last night.

Very excited to finally see what he can do in the NHL. Been hearing a lot about him for the past few years.

Awesome. I always love it when late round guys work hard and make the best of their opportunities. Had the chance to meet the guy when he was in the OHL, nice dude. Congrats

I've only seen him play during camp. I was surprised he didn't make the team then. I hope he makes the most out of the call up.

About time.

Hope he is a good influence on Bogo. Let's see if they still have any chemistry.

I hope he plays. I would like to see:

Oduya - Enstrom
Kubina - Hainsey
Bogosian - Kulda

Mark Popovic has upper-body injury. Listed as day-to-day. Reason for Arturs Kulda call-up. Kulda will wear No. 44.

Sweet. I really know nothing about the guy and I've been wanting to get a look at him for a while now.

i predict he will be a minus 1, not score, and we will all scream about how he is a bust and we are doomed for failure for all eternity.

hopefully he and bogo still have some chemistry from their days in the ohl together as it would only make sense that they are paired together on the third pairing(one being a rookie and the other being garbage)

bogo really needs to go back to what made him good last year and rely on his physicality and skating ability again. he was never great positionally and that wasn't a problem when his skating ability and strength were making up for it and he was still a rookie and could learn but now i'm starting to worry about the kid. if anything he's regressed in his positioning. he needs a good solid stay at home d-man to rub off on him and maybe kulda can help with that. i think he just needs to wipe this whole season clean, come back next year and play like he did last year

i predict.... it doesn't matter how he does because anything and anyone is better than Marc Popoblow.

please stay up for the rest of the year and gain your experience now.

well, 'Popoblow' was the best D-man on the ice last night..but dont let that effect your opinion or anything.

Is it not better to have the entire rest of the season affect his opinion rather than one uncharacteristically good game?

Man, Bogosian is taking some stick around here lately. The kid is still 19 years old. I'd hate to be one of your children if this is representative of your expectations in life. Are you expecting him have the experience of Chelios his second year in the league?

The kid is super wicked talented and is still learning his position. Feck, cut him some slack. He was schooled last night. I'm willing to bet he doesn't allow the same thing to happen again.

well its easy to pile on him when he's subpar, but i dont think he's been that bad this year, -1 so far while many of the other bigger 'names' havent been up to snuff consistently.

and as far as getting on Bogos case, i think last night was just the breaking point for a lot of fans that have been clamoring for a night off for a month. yes, he's only 19, he should be playing bottom pair minutes right now with our other top 4 options...he's going to be a damn good one, its a process, and part of that process is sitting when need be.

It doesn't matter how good or bad of a game Popovic plays because he'll be injured for the next one. Dude is soft.

Looking forward to seeing Kulda and hope he sticks.

yea because i'm gonna prasie Popovic for having 1 good game in his career... that would be worse than everyone who jumped on the Slater ship after playing 2 good weeks of hockey out of 6 years lol.

Agreed entirely.

Kulda had a solid training camp / preseason the past two seasons and has been absolutely wrecking the AHL, I'll be surprised if he struggles.
