They can't keep doing this. They start playing around the last 10-15 minutes and that would be problem in the playoffs.

There was a reason Froloaf was 8th on the shootout chart.

What the hell was wrong with Frolov? I thought he had a good game.

That was 5 years ago. I still keep what I said, he should of never been there. I love Frolovs game, but if you are expecting him to get a SO goal, you're going to be dissapointed.

No way we can blame this loss, or that shootout loss for that matter, on Frolov. At all.

I thought Ersberg had a weak game tonight. The 2nd goal should have been stopped. Paddle on the ice during the shootout would have been nice as well.

I don't disagree with you that his game could have been better, but if we had tapped in our empty netters, the game would have been over in 60. Ersberg needs to learn some better techniques in the shootout, but he garners minimal responsibility for the loss at most.

Please... this is not only factually incorrect, its absurd.

Frolov and Handzus have been the most consistent players in the line-up over the past 15 games, maybe even longer. Frolov was more than fine tonight.

What about Brown? He carried his team tonight. You deserve to give him some credit.

I just want them to make the playoffs and be in a good position. Losing games like this hurts cause they're better than that.

For the last 15 out of 60 minutes, Brown was dominant.

The other 45, well, enough said.

That's the whole team that wasn't dominating.

I'm curious as to why you love Brown but hate Frolov so unconditionally?

Easily the most uninspired, listless, out of sync hockey game the Kings have played all year.

They didn't deserve 1 point.... just proves that Edmonton is HORRIBLE, because the Kings played like garbage and still managed a point.

Colorado will cream the Kings if they play that poorly again on Saturday. These slow out of sync starts to games have got to stop. Today's was so bad it lingered right on through period 2 as well.

Awful.

That's it. I feel better. Goodnight

Too many distractions when they are at home. The wife/girlfriend and too many things to do in LA.
After the Olympic break, DL needs to put the boys in a hotel when they are at home.

Why isnt Kompon telling the top and far side to slide weak side so Kopitar can open his side up for a shot? Instead, we get a diamond with the top shooter in the middle so that three Edmonton players can cover four Kings. Its just stupid.(JT Dutch please come and talk about how the power play is not A PROBLEM now.) I was at the game and if you saw what I saw and think the PP is not a real sick dog, then I dont know what to say.

A team can not play 7 minutes of regulation and expect to win. They shouldn't have even gotten a single point for that piss-poor performance.

And TM but you're not immune from blame either. Sorry, but calling Smyth and Stoll as the number 4 and 5 shooters in the shootout, what is that? Zues or Simmonds, both of whom scored dropped behind even Richardson? And please dont tell me in practice they were better. There is no reason to EVER have Smyth or Stoll shoot before Handzus or Simmonds in the shootout, NONE!

Yeah I'm pissed, but from every angle, watching that game, the only word left to describe it is pathetic!

Agreed. However, Mr Handzus mailed in the first two periods and most of the third as well. That was emblematic of the team tonight.
