I missed the first period, but that was a pretty pathetic first five minutes in the 2nd. Wolski could care less what happens in his own zone apparently. I saw him just standing there near the boards while the puck went to a Phoenix player.

Apparently Sacco's not too happy either, calling a timeout here.

Wow Hannan is so amazing...i love how everyone says he is such a defensive defenseman yet he just watched the goal happen...he is worthless.

Now Stewart looks like he could care less. He was just hanging out in the neutral zone while the puck was still in the zone with Phoenix in possession. Instead of hustling back, he just coasts in, and they almost score.

Wow. How often do you watch the Avs?

One of the worst posts I've seen on this board.

Wow, one bad play. Nothing is more foolish than your comments that Liles - a deserving healthy scratch - can do the same job Hannan can.

Interence/Obstruction is making a comeback league wide. They're back to letting one guy get mauled, and calling a weak chuck the other way.

Very hesitant play this far in the second. Lots of turnovers and passive defending.

Did the Avs really just go that first 15 minutes of the 2nd without a shot?

Cumiskey has nearly cost the Avs a goal with a poor play in his own end about five times this game. Kid still has a lot to learn.

This whole team has played pretty crappy in their own end all year long. That's how we're getting beat when we get beat. They swarm us and we turn it over. They need to spend a lot of time in practice working on their defensive zone play.

What a bad second period , that was a fugly . The Yotes had the edge all period long , winning almost all the little battles . Even on their goal , we were able to see it comming for a few shifts when they scored . Sacco had a great idea to take a timeout coz everything was wrong in our play , but even if after the timeout we didnt play much better . It took us what the 3/4 of the priod to have a shot on goal , i mean that speaks volume , right there on the kind of period we had , even if the score is still 1-1.

What, get scored on while watching the play happen RIGHT in front of you? You're right, he can.

I was thinking along the lines of averaging over 22 minutes a game on a winning team.
