Doh! That sucks!

Yeah, I liked the PT schedule better myself. I'll be able to catch most of the US men's game, but may have to leave before it's over.

They'd been showing the games again late at night so far (got to watch the US women's last night at about 3 am after they screwed up and showed Snow Dogs or something instead live), but I'm not seeing anything for the US games to be replayed tomorrow.

Forward lines from first Canada practice:

Bergeron-Crosby-Nash
Staal-Getzlaf-Perry
Heatley-Thornton-Marleau
Towes-Richards-Iginla

No shock. The Staal line is going to seriously wreck some people. The size, tenacity and big play ability of all 3 is going to drive other teams absolutely NUTS. Add in that Staal and Getzlaf are two of the most underrated two-way players in the game, I honestly see that being possibly the most unheralded line of the olympics, but possibly among the most dominant if not THE most dominant.

Send a message via AIM to Vagrant
Tim Gleason will be paired with Erik Johnson on the second pairing for Team USA. Jack Johnson and Brooks Orpik will be the third pair.

If someone has an online stream, please post the link or drop me a PM. I only have internet service at my house, so NBC won't let me in to watch their streams.

Tuomo Ruutu will be in Finlands first line, playing with Mikko Koivu and Valtteri Filppula.

Never really paid attention to their lineup, but interesting that they have 2 centers (counting Marleau) per line. I guess they should be pretty good on faceoffs.

Nash and Marleau playing RW...strange that they wouldn't leave them at LW where they're used to playing.

It's probably just a typo/mistake. I doubt they'd play both Nash and Bergeron out of position on their off-wings on the same line.

Actually, Heatley plays RW on Thornton line. Marleau plays on LW - he's much better wing than center.

Nash plays a lot on right wing for Blue Jackets. He plays on right wing on powerplay too.

I'm not sure Nash will play on RW on that line with Crosby and Bergeron but he's fine on right side.

I think you'll more Gleason against the higher skilled teams where we need more stay at home D... Against this neutral ice checking Swiss team, we need our D to move the puck quickly up the ice

Let's make separate GDT for Canada, Finland, and Team USA and keep this as basic Olympic hockey talk and non canes player stuff... How does that sound?
