OT - Kevin Smith wasn't lying

When Kevin Smith came to Edmonton last he was sporting a sweet Devils/Oilers mashup outfit. He proclaimed he was an Oilers fan after watching Boys on the Bus and honestly I believed him.
Now we all hear these celebrities who are visiting from elsewhere say they "love" something about our city but it's usually just empty talk to please the crowds. So when a celebrity says they are a fan of our hockey club, or love our city we usually take it with a grain of salt knowing they probably don't think twice about us when they are partying it up in LA or NY or whatever glamorous place they call home.
So when I saw this picture of Mr. Smith it made me smile. Good Job Kevin.
Spread the word my friend, spread the word.

He can often be seen Tweeting about the Oilers; he also posted a pic of him in an Oilers tee.

We've actually talked about the Oilers on 5 different occasions.

As you can see right there.....

This is great news, Katz should sign him to a 6 year 36 million dollar deal. my not be great on the ice, but i can just read the headlines now....

But honestly, hes been a Oil fan for a long time. Is Kurt Browning still our celebrity captain? If not we should bestow it on Kevin Smith.

I'd put him in front of the Crease on a 5 on 3 both offensively and Defensively.

Just kidding. This is the real Snuffleupagus (who actually looks to be the same size as Kevin Smith).

Find anything of Smith on Youtube filmed after his visit to EDM and I'd say there's a better than 75% chance he's wearing his gear.
