Again, it's just to replace Brashear. Slats is of the belief that goons are still necessary in today's game, so he wants to have Shelley available.

It's a minor move. Nothing to get worked up about.

**** you Sather.

The "trademaster" strikes again.

We are practically out of the playoff picture, and he trades a draft pick away for one of the worst players in the league.

I'm scared of the TD. Sather obviously isn't selling. ****.

Was Brashear assigned to Hartford today or not?

Zipay is telling us the obvious.

If it's for anything more than a 2011 8th round draft pick, we overpaid. Come on, probably worked all afternoon on this deal, too.

Guess Slats is still standing by his "We're still in it" comment.

Shelley is a hell of a fighter, but this wasn't necessary.

But you have Prust, Voros...

Why go out and get another goon with 20 games left in the season?

AND GIVE UP A PICK ON TOP OF IT??? I dont care if they created a 25th round for the draft and thats the pick they gave up. its another mindless move and misusage of assets.

This makes absolutely no sense. Bring up Byers if you want another guy who can drop em. At least he can skate. I dont get it, i just dont get it.

Fire Sather... PLEASE. HELP. US. PLEASE.

He just HAS to do something. Cant just sit there and let ANY deadline go by without being active. THIS TEAM SUCKS GLEN.

This is Sather's way of telling Brashear to **** off.

With Shelley, Prust, Voros, Brashear on the roster obviously one is going. Brashear cleared waivers, but has he been assigned to Hartford? Guessing the Rangers are banking on him breaching his contract.

No need for this, not with Voros and Prust. That pick had better be as insignificant as it can possibly be.

Well the people who were complaining the rangers dont have a legitimate heavyweight which is why other teams were taking liberties with Hank and Gabby got there wish. Looks like Voros and Brashear are done.

Anything 5th round or later I can live with. Although I don't understand why he had to after a 34 year old.

Can not wait for the Philly game later on in the season. St least Prust and Shelley are the aggresors most of the time. Something this team needs, not sure why people are freaking out.

Well that's true.

But Prust and Shelley is one helluva' tag-team.

Lily: What's the story on that dog?
