More like Pronger might have an affair with him. Oh wait... He's not an Edmonton weathergirl. Don't get too close to Gomez, Mrs.Pronger might ask for a trade again.

Refs were brutal, how many interference penalties did they miss in the 3rd. It takes a guy bleeding from his helmet to get a call. Speakng of that....classless fans....booing as a bleeding Spacek leaves the ice in a semi-conscious state.

Subban was great from what I saw.

Why Darche (who I didn't notice all game) didn't at least try to get the puck to him at the last moment is a mystery

Spacek and Markov can't play tomorrow ? Leave Subban in and call up Henry. Send Desharnais down and get rid of useless D'agostini and bring up White and either Neilson, or Stewart.

It's a war and you need people who can and will fight.

Tomorrow everyone and their dog better come out hitting, or else you should be benched for being a *****.
I lol'ed. This isn't a war - it's a game of hockey.

Poor Subban, it really sucks when you want and know that you can make the difference, but your teammates refuse to trust you and make you the pass. The man was wide open in front of the net, slapping his stick & begging for the puck, the pass never came. What was Darche thinking? Same thing dying seconds of the 2nd period, power-play, PK wide open begging for the puck, once again totally ignored.

So if Spacek is out tomorrow, the D situation is gonna look a little scary.....maybe more minutes for PK, though.

Nice team of ******* we have, tomorrow should be fun.

Check your glasses, or maybe get a new prescription.

Timmo went after Gomez, Gomez reacted.

the only thing I didn't like from PK was his last rush up the ice. It was nice to watch, but he slowed down the forwards because they weren't sure if he'd carry it in or not so they held up, and then when he did pass to Gomez, he got in his way. Other than that, a great first game.

Price's rebound control is one of his strengths and I don't remember him giving up any bad rebounds tonight, but thank you for showing up Halakian.

Is the scouting report on Price to plow him into the net and knock him over in order to score!? Geez...these Flyers get away with everything.

They should've been called for interference during those last 20 minutes. However, we shouldn't expect to only play 20 minutes and win. We had 13 shots in the first 2 periods (yikes!).

Even though he should've tied his guy up on the third goal O'Byrne has been impressing me more and more lately. That was an epic defensive play he made late in the third preventing the breakaway.

Don't you think it's weird that Timonen is the one that picked up that 10 min misconduct and not Gomer? Still think Gomez started it?

He's a 3rd of 4th liner being put in a 2nd liners role...We can't blame him, we can only blame Martin for not putting a guy like SK out there instead.

Price's rebound control >>> Halak's rebound control

Stop bashing Price. You can't expect to play 20 minutes and win all the time.

Go back to the stinking hole you call home. The Flyers should be removed from the NHL and sent to a senior garage league. Cause they fit there.

Ahh, so that's why you never make coherent posts. That's quite obvious you've never played in an organized league before. When a team does that and you have to play them soon enough, you don't forget and go out there hitting everything that moves. The enviroment is more chippy and everyone is on edge and ready to drop the gloves.

Trust me, I've been there. I've also played the NHL games like you and never fully get it until you actually play.

Honestly, it looked like Subban was diving there. It wouldn't be the first time, which is something I really hope he corrects ASAP.

(Other than that minor complaint, he played a terrific first game)
