Best rendition of the US national anthem EVER ...

If that is in response to my post, I was referring to when the guy was speaking French or whatever.

This is a great song when song well, which is happening right now.

white suit singing Hallelujah?

woman. k.d. lang. big time folk/country singer from a while back (I think. I'm not into country).

also, the point of singing that song is that I'm 90% sure the composer is Canadian.

You must be getting the feed a bit earlier than me. And yes I thought it was a dude the whole time, but I love Lang as a singer. She has some of the best vocal cords on the planet.

EIDT: Whoever is singing now is breaking my brain.

I can't imagine being asked to carry in the Olympic flag. I can relate to being asked to carry out the garbage, but to be asked to be one of the 8 carring in the Olympic flag for your country is a lot better than that.

Terry Fox was awesome. Dude ran an entire marathon each day on one leg for like 140 days. That's insane.

Lang was hot, but other than that the poet was the best vocalist of the night

Should have been sung in French, Italian or German.

Opera in Engrish just isn't right ...
