By the way, if I were to buy a TNG uniform shirt, do you think the eye would customize it for me?

Wasn't it Elias who high sticked Ruutu on his first game with us.

To be fair to Elias there, as it was a follow through he's not supposed to be liable for high sticking.

Actually, since he wiffed I don't know how that works. But I don't think you're supposed to be called for that.

I think it also was combination of him falling down, and the fact that they say even though you are falling you have to have control of your stick.

For all his remarkable skills, Staal kinda sucks on the breakaway.

Wah-wah.

Yeah, the Rats look really good this game. And of course, Whitney continues to show why we shouldn't trade him.

I honestly think at this moment, we see how things play out. I know everyone's gaga over what we could get for Whitney, but if this team continues to play the way they have...

Whitney: "I'll do what's best for this organization, and in the same sense, I'll do what's best for me, try and win a stanley cup".

When Stan Fischler was asking him about trades. That's pretty much confirmation he's willing to waive the NTC, not that it was much of a question.

Looking good. Nice to go into a 2-week break with everyone feeling good on a 5-game win streak.

Oh, token Picard picture:

Shh...don't you know that that type of talk is blasphemy around here? Nevermind the fact that after tonight they'll likely be 9 back with 2 games in hand on Montreal, the current #7 team.

Just think of how much better this team would be without Whitney hogging the puck. Boychuk would likely have a hat-trick, and Staal, Jokinen, Ruutu, and Sutter would each have a goal. It's clear that Whitney's selfishness is holding this team back.

Albany leads after two periods with 6:0. 4 powerplay goals.

Yeah...I wouldn't do that. It's bad form. I usually don't even look at the opposing team's GDT, but the pre-game crap from the Devils made me follow it as strictly an observer. Man there's a lot of hostility though.

Though, I do like the one guy who tried to teach you grammar and misused the word "you're" himself. Twice.

Let's crawl before we walk. If we win tonight, we'll be 2 back of the Panthers for 13th.

Any possibility Whitney gets traded and comes back in the off-season? I mean, something similar to what Recchi did a few years back.

Big possibility.

We know JR, he will give Whitney 3-4 years. I don't think we should resign Ray for more than 1 year.

I think most thought that would be the case before the news came out about the demand for an extension to be in place before he would accept a trade. If he is traded to somewhere like Pittsburgh, I fully expect he'll be back here next year.
