Kozlov being scratched is hurting this team.... thats another thing i blame Andersons for. Why would he consistently scratch Kozlov for Terrible White?
well like i said if we keep within 7 it will be a moral win for us... lets do it!
the thrashers actually had a couple of good looks on that powerplay for once. JA better pull a Bobby Knight in the locker room to get this team fired up!
Is there any reason you guys keep going back to Huet? Is it just because he makes so much money, so you kinda feel obligated?
Yes, but he is also very streaky and can be very good or very bad for months at a time. I think they are hoping that he gets hot going into the playoffs.
It's not true. Kids played more than a couple of years in NA. No reason he'd go back.
Good for you guys then
Hawks have only 1 Russian in our system (Igor Makarov). He came over 2 yrs ago and dominated prospect camp but got injured during training camp. Haven't gotten him to come over since. He wants a guaranteed roster spot.
He isn't getting that , He is struggling in KHL so maybe he will come over and give AHL a try or come over for Camp to try to win a roster spot next camp

Huet has proven he can play for longer stretches of time. Niemi though is starting to get stretched out so it is clear that Niemi might have a chance to seize the job.
But the Hawks would prefer to go into playoffs with Huet instead of a rookie as our #1. He has shown he can play stretches of real good hockey. November thru December he was playing very well and in 08 he was amazing for Caps down the stretch
Expect Huet to be our #1 going into playoffs and if he shows sign of struggle , Niemi will go in (Like Carolina in 2006 with Gerber/Ward)
Niemi will most likely be our #1 next year. Huet I expect to be bought out (I am in minority) or traded with assets.
Would the Thrasher take Huet's contract if you could get a good prospect (Aliu or Sweatt) + a 1st?
Pavelec is still probably a yr or 2 away from being a full time #1 and Hedberg isn't getting any younger

Dive of the season so far. Man I would hate having to play these guys more than twice a season. It's bad enough they can beat you with all the skill they have, but having to pull **** like that is just disappointing.
