Pens vs. Preds Plus/Minus

+ Sid-Big suprise here. Night after night he does work. Today he played an excellent defensive game and blocked a ton of shots.
+ PK-Thought they played very well tonight including Adams since people have been down on him lately.
+ Orpik-It's about time the candyman gets a goal. Even though he missed the net, it somehow goes in. Must have been his blinding stare.
+ Craig Adams deserves to get his own plus. This guy is seriously underrated. Great shot blocker. Great hitter. Great 4th liner for his salary.
+ Olympic break can't come faster...

- Geno- What is he doing? Dumb penalties, stupid plays. Still manages to get some points but not playing very well, at all.
- Billy G going offsides like 4 times won't help us win.
- Missing the net. How many times did we miss the net today with our shots? Like 50?
- Stop attacking after we get the lead. This is not Bylsma's offense.
- MAF played a decent game, But he needs to play better. Period.

Shero needs to do some work before the trade deadline. Guerin is old and slow, Feds is invisible, Gogo is weak as hell in the D zone.

Craig Adams has upped his game lately. Staal was great tonight, he really abused Klein on a couple rushes.

In all the years I've watched hockey I've never seen a player have a worse game than Bill Guerin did tonight. It was like he was on the other team's payroll. He destroyed momentum every time he touched the puck, and even sometimes when he didn't.

not much to say other than we looked sloppy and lazy and ready for a break.

i hope there is some urgency when the team gets back, and i hope shero ships out some dead weight (looking at you feds) and adds a forward with some skill.

also need that physical dman cuz our defense is soff

+ Staal for doing what he does best
+ Sid for carrying this **** team

- Guerin for being old and stupid
- Fleury for being ordinary at times and awful in the SO
- Malkin for being AWOL this season
- Letestu on his awful turnover leading to Tootoo's goal

Is it me or was Guerin offsides like 12 times today. He can't be on Sid's line if he's going to kill rushes like that

I don't understand the "did we really lose against Nashville?". They're hardly a bad team. Year after year they produce a solid team.

Yeah, Guerin's pretty much done. It's hard to be mad at him because I don't think he's necessarily being lazy--he's simply gotten too old to keep up with the game.

Not to beat a dead horse but wow was Guerin brutal today. One of his worst games this season.

- Malkin, I have been against trading him quite a bit, not anymore.
- Guerin, .....

+ Staal, ready to second line duty.
+ Crosby, if someone still thinks Malkin is better....

This team needs changes. Big ones.

-McKee, second Preds goal he literally checked his own player. Got caught on a pad pinch and gave up a 2-1

+Olympic break, I'm excited to see Sid and Geno play with the world's bests wingers instead of the worlds worst.

Sid and Staal were pretty much the only "+" for me today.

Not gonna go into detail about the "minus", other than the fact that we only seemed to show up for the first 20 minutes, and the fact that we took too many stupid penalties.

Come on oshjo, as a fellow BG'er that's a pretty stupid minus.

If anything a big - needs to go to people blaming Fleury/putting Fleury in the - category. One of these games Fleury will get a shutout and people will still put him in the minus category.

And a big - to people over-reacting.

Looks like more than just the Pens will benefit from the Olympic break as some of our HFBoarders will put down the knives. Hopefully.

+ Sid: no reason to elaborate, we all know...

+ Brooks: Congrats on your first goal since the middle school dek hockey tournament

+ Staal: Real nice game today. Winning battles and skating hard.

+ PK: Other than the first goal they had, a great day all aorund for this group that unfortunately got WAY too many chances to showcase their ability.

- Geno: Yeah, his mind is already in Vancouver. Played like he crapped his pants most of the game and just like the rest of the season takes STUPID penalties...

- MAF: He wasn't awful, but he hardly helped us out. Needs to play better or it won't matter who we get at the deadline. Luckily, he's got a nice 2 week break in scenic British Columbia to think things over.

- Billy G: I really hate to do this, but he is just plain lousy right now. How many times was he offsides today and how many times can he have a yawning cage and miss the net in front?

You're right. We'd probably be better off right now without his 65 pts Lets not get TOO crazy now lol.

He really does need to be a lot smarter though in regards to taking bad penalties. He's been making a habit of it all season long.

All he did was win Conne Smythe and Art Ross last year. How dare a 23 year old player have some bad games. I hope we can get at least a 2nd rounder out of him.

I know, I know. Nashville is decent but I only said that not because of the team, but because of all of the missed chances. I worded it wrong. My bad guys. Mckee missing his chance, Guerin missing chances, everyone missing the net. I will edit it. I am just disgusted right now. As for Fleury not playing better. I like the guy, and he is nowhere near what he did last year compared to what he is doing lately. Roll Along you BG warrior haha.

What did you expect anyone's reaction to be? When you say something as idiotic as that you should have your posting privileges revoked.
