Cam Barker

After 2 periods against the Canucks he has been fairly unnoticeable. That's not such a bad thing for a defenseman. He's paired with Burns and he's clearly playing back and letting Burns go up on the rush. Thoughts? Let's talk about him.

Good with the puck (as I expected him to be). Looked a little lazy in the D-zone for my liking, especially in front of the net. As far as his first game, I would say he played pretty well. Not to mention his bomb of a shot, which we got to see today.

If he fixes that he will be a good dman in NHL for longtime.

He had issues with his work ethic on and off ice since the Hawks drafted him.

Nice to see him get a goal

Both dman seem to be adjusting to there new teams well. Johnsson scored for us yesterday and has been solid

Yeah, he did look a little lethargic out there. Maybe it's just his temperament - some people are intense and bounce off the walls all day, others are mellow and calm.

I did notice the nice hands though, and the fact that he doesn't panic with the puck under pressure.
