yeah, cause you know that Crosby (a guy with over 40 goals and 78 points is over rated)

I could make a case the Crosby is currently the best player in the NHL(then again you could say the same about Malkin, Ovechkin etc.).

If he didn't cry to much, he would be ok.

That is the one thing I agree with you about...Crosby has improved on cutting back on the pouting and crying since his rookie season though.

Of Course anyone would like Staal, but as of right now. We don't NEED him.
Not only have you not comprehended what my avatar is, you haven't read the Flames board.

The Flames are underachieving, but you're the only one arguing that. I am referring to Staal, which I mentioned before. But you couldn't pick up on that.

A big 30-30 guy centring Iggy wouldn't be bad. He'd be an upgrade on Langks of a few years ago, who was good with Iginla.

After the last couple trades where Calgary moved their top tier players for a boatload of medicore/mid-level guys I am predicting that Shero could get alot more then that for a player with upside and talent.

Buddy, what does we don't need MORE UNDERACHIEVERS have to say and I only mentioned 4 out of a 21 man Roster that are actually doing good.... What does that have to say....

And AGAIN I AGREE WITH YOU IN WE WOULD LIKE Staal, but we don't NEED him.......

Anybody who saw what Staal did today understands why he's so valuable.

Opponents have no answer for a player who's that smart, that big, that fast, and that strong. He was a outstanding against the Preds PP, and the rush where he got his assist, he just rushed in with his textbook move from the side, put his arm out, and drove to the net. They know it's coming, they simply can't do much about it.

He's a very good player on a very good contract on a cap-strapped team, and he's young enough that he could still improve even more. There's absolutely no reason to give him up.

Sutter is optimistic all the time, in how if a player has a "GREAT" Year then starts Underachieving a Defense First from the Calgary Flames will definitely help them... NOT

You contradicted yourself. Staal is not underachieving, although he could maybe score more in a scoring role, and we would like him, but we shouldn't get him.

There are more than 4 achieving Flames. There's just not enough offensive prowess in the forwards.

I think it is safe to say that ANY team "needs" Staal.

I kept saying we would "WANT" Him, but we don't "NEED" Him, read the other posts. and the flames need lots of O and Jordan Staal that won't happen. That's why we don't WANT him

Way to contradict yourself... you just said "I kept saying we would WANT him" and you followed that up by saying "That's why we don't want him".

There is no hope.

K are you dumb. Listen I will say this in the nicest way possible.

We would want him for his Height, potential and scoring ability.

We don't want him for the reason that we would probably have to give up a lot for him, when we don't really need that when we gave our team a face lift... AND WHO KNOWS. He might be another Jokinen, and Underachieve not saying he will...

If we didn't do the Phaneuf deal and Jokinen deal than MAYBE we would have already gotten him then??

Maybe I have not been clear enough or what, but we would "LIKE/WANT" Him for the reasons above.
BUT we don't NEED him

What does this even mean? Can you at least sound literate, maybe invest in a spell checker too Please elaborate so we can all learn from your wisdom.

- Who is playing with Top Potential guys?
- Who makes bad decisions?
- Game 7?? Huh?

If you been paying attention we were talking about Ovechkin, Crosby and other people...
They are all playing with Top Guys.....
Crosby makes bad decisions in when he "Cries" To the ref because he got hit.
Game 7 he didn't even play in the 3rd period to help his team when Gonchar played on a TORN ACL. And the funny thing is This is HFboards, not LA class, so IDC what language I use, if it matters to you that much. Then why don't you take online courses?

So Crosby is playing with "Top Guys"? Hmmm interesting... and I need to take online courses to learn to spell and use proper English?
