I'm sure you've seen him in the crowd at every Team Canada game. He was there for every game during the World Juniors, & I've seen him on TV at every Men's Team Canada game during the Olympics. Then I saw him tonight at the Women's Canada/Finland game. He sits in the exact same seat every game, behind the net.
He wears a Team Canada jersey, with a Canadian flag as a cape, a goal light on top of his hockey helmet & usually holds a sign that says "Canada is HOCKEY" or something else.
Anybody know what his story is & how he's at every single game?

Haha when you describe him, it kinda sounds like how a Canadian would be pictured in the Simpsons or something like that.
Yeah, I've seen him at Canucks games too. What I hated though was the guy who gets paid to amp up the crowd and start chants. It's not the red light helmet guy, just some chubby older dude who wears like 10 shirts and takes one off and swings it around each time the camera is on him. He was running up and down the steps at the Germany-Belarus game doing this the whole night. It was amazing how many shirts he had on.
Finally found a picture of the guy I'm talking about. This was taken at a Canucks/Flames game back in January:
my buddies were watching the canada/usa game and they kept showing him on tv and we were wondering the same thing. He is at all the world juniors and everything... guy must be effin loaded.. he always has great seats
He is the stereotypical goofy looking Canadian hockey nerd. Even has the thick frames like the Hanson brothers. I'd bet he loves to ice fish. If he's getting paid for that then he's got the second best job in the world. The best job of course would be to play in those games he attends...

I read the title, and for some reason, I knew EXACTLY who you were talking about.
