But when you sign for 7mil a year as a defensman then you better be ready to be compared to the leagues best. When you don't produce or compare to Norris type defensman then don't cry to me. You signed that deal to get the money and so comes along the pressure of that deal.

But...he IS producing (this year at least), while he might only be the 3rd best Hawk D-man that is behind two great players, and he brings elite puck moving skills which are matched only by a few guys in the entire league.

Another panthers fan here guys (I actually live in chicago too ) but with the trade of Fallon, does this spell a huge trade regarding a legit #1 goaltender for you guys, or was this a minor deal for the Hogs?

Things that make you go "hmmm"...

As an Islander fan I have been thinking The Hawks might make a good trading mate. Yet Unless Ricky D.... is done...I can't see us taking on Huet's contract. 4.5 mill for Rick and Huet's 5.625....That is to much money in Goaltenders...to much for one to sit on the bench.

Before you guys got Kim J on D...I would of said yes to Rolo, Sutton and ? to The Hawks ...now not so sure....
