I just don't think you can start talking about him choking at the end of the first period. Nobody looked good 10mins into the first

Trust me man if I had not seen this same act for the last 5 seasons I wouldn't be. I really hope the guy proves me wrong, if he had the desire he would be the best player in the world but he's always been content just being what he is.

Maybe this will cause people to realise that the Swiss are no joke.

I know it's only 6 periods of hockey, but what has Morrow done that Stamkos couldn't have?

THats why he has 4 cups. Broduer is the guy I run with, no doubt. This will be his last olympics, but he is still the man.

I have to agree.

I would like to offer some tactical errors were making to cause this tied score but Switzerland is playing a terrific game.

I got nothing.

We'll have to keep skating and get the next one I hope.

Goal against in the last 30 seconds?

Sure feels like an Oilers game.

Agreed. Although I don't really have massive amount of faith in either Luongo or Brodeur, I think if you had to pick one, you gotta go with Marty.

I must stress, though, that I'm neutral here (Swedish), so I'm just enjoying a really intense hockey game.

Always cool to see the underdog compete with the best too.

How can anybody blame marty? Good god, get off the drugs. 2nd goal went in off a skate and the first was a nice shot off the post.

Lack of Stamkos' shot on the PP (especially his right hand shot) is kinda showing.

Marty all the way, that first Swiss goal was amazing, looked like Kovalchuk or Ovechkin with that cross ice blast. Can't blame Brodeur imo. Second one was also pretty much unstoppable.

As for the game, they better get it together. But the underdog (read: Oilers) fan in me is almost cheering for the Swiss, they play a very exciting and fun to watch game.

Two goals by Nash in the 3rd.

The Swiss are attacking with authority and Canada is going for a leisurely skate. It's efforts like this that make me wish that we were watching amateurs instead of these millionaires.

*rant*

i think lou has been the better goalie heading into the tournament, and the fact that its lou's home rink, and his stats when playing in that rink are impressive. hes the man.

i dont listen to the 'x amount of cups' argument, he hasnt won a cup in 7 years.

yup no execution on the part of Canada. Brodeur is not at fault.

crazy game. not necessarily surprised by the Swiss performance, but i really didnt think it would be this close. amazing game played by Switzerland so far.

hopefully we can crank it up in the 3rd, and shore up those execution problems. poor poor execution by team canada. should be 4 or 5-2 for Canada now.
