I do think the Keith/Seabrook pairing could get some more ice. They've been the best unit so far in the tournament.

hopefully we can crank it up in the 3rd, and shore up those execution problems. poor poor execution by team canada. should be 4 or 5-2 for Canada now.
What are they? 0-6, 0-7 on the powerplay? Babcock can probably be heard all throughout GM Place during
this intermission.

i started the bordeur talk, and if you read my post, the first thing i said is "its not brodeurs fault"

when watching the team play id rather have lou in there. just a better feeling overall imo. similar to when id watch oiler games, back when roloson and garon were rotating. with each goalie behind them the team seemed to have a different feel to it/different confindence levels

Posted this in the Norway thread, but I think our lack of dimension, is killing us.

I get the feeling this is an All-Star team that may not know how to win a close tight checking game, and might not be able to hold onto a 1 goal lead.

Our forecheck is just awful, and Pronger is being a hotheaded retard. Every team knows this, and will likely use it to their advantage.

Not saying we can't or won't win gold, I just don't think we're a juggernaut team that everyone seems to think we are on paper. And I don't see a whole lot of dimensions like high end defensive players, nor do I see the level of CLUTCH players we had back in Salt Lake City
(Sorry but nobody on this team is really on the same level as Lemieux, Sakic, or Yzerman, who have all been EXTREMELY clutch and had cemented legendary status as being able to score gameshifting/winning goals at key times in key games).

I think that their lack of urgency got them into this mess. I'd better see a TON of intensity in the third.

and its not like im saying marty is letting in bad goals, the first swiss goal was awesome, the second was just luck. the game is tied.

all in all the players up front have to step their game up. id like to see crosby's line have a crack at the No.1 PP

No kidding. They could take a lesson from the Women's team.

It would help if they actually tried playing team hockey as well.

Dear Canada,

More shots please. And lets get Hiller off his game with some traffic.

Swiss has Canada EXACTLY where they want them. I will not be surprised if they end up winning this game.

Dude's, if you want the goalie to give out rebounds, you gotta stop shooting the puck at his crest.

So, how does OT work in the olympics? Like the playoffs do with 20min OT periods?
