Dang, that was a fast repair job. Very smooth and cleanly done. That crew should be proud of itself!

Imagine what kind of player the Sharks could've had if they could fuse Sturm's speed with Cheechoo's hands.

JR pissed at team Germany for playing the trap and not getting goals. He also pointed out that its the same defenceman that screwed with Griess play and essentially handed Belarus a goal. The guy though is useless without the replay video

I don't think there was much he could do there. First Bakos let the opponent walk to the net, then Chris Schmidt took out Greiss by sliding into him.

Great choices by Krupp, two of the very questionable decisions in Pätzold and Bakos cost us the games against Finland and Belarus. Not that there was a chance of getting a point or even a win against Finland, but maybe they wouldn't have looked so bad if they actually had someone in net who made a save. Now Bakos with two brainfarts, and two goals against...

With Pätzold you can at least mention that he was once highly regarded and that he does have North America experience, but there was not a single reason why a borderline DEL-player like Bakos is on the roster.

What are the SOG? If I heard right, that can't be good for Greiss' save%

:/

well seeing as the defencemen are screening Griess and getting in his way, it shouldn't be a suprise.
