I dunno... I can't take this seriously with Blum ahead of Wilson and Ellis so low

^ Wow tough crowd ^

Not a bad list IMO. Sure, your individual opinion may move a guy up or down a spot or two, but all in all, good list. Blum definitely deserves to be #1. If they could both be #1, then they probably would. Wilson probably fell due to his injury.

I'm surprised to see Ellis so low, and Roussel so high (but I admittedly know nothing about him)

I really like our prospect pool right now.

COR has skyrocketed up the charts. He has size and he's the youngest guy in the system so he has time to build up. I think SLake's effectionate nickname for him is Weber jr.

Very surprised/disappointed that both Gabriel Bourque and Michael Latta didn't crack the Top 20 over Ryan Thang and Mark Santorelli...

Agreed, Bourque is impressing me and since Ray was my favorite player his would be the first named jersey I would get.

I wonder if he would wear #77?

I totally forgot about Bourque. Yeah, he should be up there. I can understand Latta though.

Why? I thought Latta was doing well this year.

Seems ok and I'm far from the expert but I'd have expected something more like this:

1. Colin Wilson 2
2. Jon Blum 1
3. Chet Pickard 4
4. Ryan Ellis 7
5. Zach Budish 6
6. Roman Josi 10
7. Charles-Olivier Roussel 5
8 Taylor Beck 8
9. Cody Franson 3
10. Cal O'Reilly 8
11. Anders Lindback 16
12. Nick Spaling 15
13. Blake Geoffrion 14
14. Gabriel Borque (n/a)
15. Alexander Sulzer 12
16. Andreas Thuresson 17
17. Atti Engren (n/a)
18. Mike Santorelli 9
19. Teemu Laakso (n/a)
20. Michael Latta (n/a)

Has nothing to do with his play this year. I'm just not as high on him as most. Of course I've seen him play a very limited amount of time. We just have so many other good prospects that he gets nudged.

Surprised Dietrich made that list, white putting up some points, his shot is weak, horrible on the blue line on PPs, and gives too many turn-overs.

Yet Laakso isn't listed?

Good to see someone else's list too. I did one back in the fall and have done so again now (see below). I like to group the prospects to inject greater context. In parentheses, I've also provided HF's current and fall rankings.

The big change is that I'm now much higher on Josi and quite down on Ellis. Bottom line though, the NSH top 10 is about as good as I can find around the league.
