I think Nash is an elite talent who has simply been the victim of a really bad franchise over the course of his still young career. The guy has basically been a bright spot on a Blue Jacket's franchise that has had very, VERY few bright spots over the years. I think that his career numbers would be much higher had he actually been given the benefit of a decent team during these years.

Nash played well, but the guy doesn't pass. For that reason I don't think he meshes with Sid. They are both players who need lots of puck time and therefore should be separated.

Staal-Crosby-Nash, I'd like to see that as well. And a line of
Richard-Toews-Iginla getting 2nd/3rd line playing time.

Thought he played really hard last night, and check the SH!! outta the US team. Just hasnt been able to put the puck in the net yet. Also was a helluva couple assist he's made so far in this tourney.

If some more of team canada's players played like my captain i think canada could really get things going?(#27,#19,#24,#8) Just sayin.

No one seems to be able to catch Crosby's passes, and he doesn't seem to be playing the shooting game that he was in Pittsburgh.

I'd like to see Heatley play with Crosby.

As a red wing fan? Thats priceless considering he owns the redwings. haha The guy has got no other talent around him here in columbus yet you say all he does is hit? How bout those 3 or 4 goal games he put up on you guys last year? lol I love how its rick nash's fault your coach is an idiot. Hey if you dont want him just play a bum like morrow all game and send our captain back to columbus where he is appreciated.

Nash has been good, but the line with Crosby has not played to expectation. I agree with the OP,

Staal - Crosby - Iginla
Nash - Getzlaf - Perry

Nash needs the puch too much, it looks like Crosby is having a tough time adjusting. Play Nash with Getz, they showed good chemistry in the prev WC.

Put Staal with Crosby as he likes the cycle game too.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'd really like to see Marleau on the wing with Crosby. I think you need a guy that can skate with Sidney on his wing as too many times Crosby seemed to take the puck and go and no one was with him. Marleau has proven that he can score, so I wouldn't mind him getting a look on Sid's wing, although this late in the tournament I doubt the Sharks tandem will be broken up.

That would probably help since Patty is one of the most defensively responsible forwards on team canada but you better have some fast to play with JT and Heater.

Joe Thornton needs to get his act together Not using his body or driving net at all.

I agree with you roo, nash and crosby line has not been great. Put rick with thorton or getz thats cool.

Its just funny to come on here today and read some of the people trash a guy whos playing his rear off. He didnt ask to be with sid, thats babcocks job. Also IMO he should be played more on the PK. The guy is the jackets best pker and has a ton of short handed goals for his career.

Well I would probably move Nash down to play with JT and Heater. I don't really think that they need a speedy winger considering JT likes to slow the game down anyway. Plus, Heater and Nash have had chemistry in the past playing in the world championships and whatnot, and that was with Getzlaf at center who by no means is a speed demon himself.

I like Nash with JT and I dont know if he needs to be speedy, I guess responsible would be a better term for it. Or you could simply watch your D pairings.

I would argue Nash has been one of our top forwards, but by all means, roast him too.

I thought Crosby could play with anyone? Why is this an issue?
