We lose all those deals...badly...

Markov PLUS Subban PLUS something else for Staal???? I wouldn't even trade that for Eric Staal!

Sergei is not big but he fits the profile. Skills, vision, nifty passes, defensively sound. He just need to learn to win faceoffs.

Pouliot-Gomez-Gionta
Cammalleri-Sergei-Andrei

Get the best we can for Plekanec unless we can onload Hamrlik or Spacek and Gill. Gomez is not going anywhere.

I agree that Sergei is a skilled passer and has good vision. However, they tried Sergei at C two years ago and he looked completely “lost”!

Pouliot is the big centerman. Stop looking for it. Problem right now is that we need Plekanec to stay here, and Gomez is on the roster for a while. So there are no spot available for a "big centerman".

But at one point, I am convinced that Pouliot will be moved to center.

More than that he needs to figure out that playing NHL is a FULL TIME JOB, he seems to show up once every 4-5 games and then is a no show the rest of the time.

you have to look it up: point de presse de bob gainey on 11-24-2009 on the bottom left.

here is gainey talking about pouliot as a center... look at 13:15 minutes left and 11:50 minutes left as he talks about pouliot as a center....
Pouliot was best as a center in junior

I don't know how Pouliot would fare as the Habs next "big center" but I'm extremely skeptical about placing SKost in that role.

Yes you can, Plekanec between Cammalleri and Kostitsyn sr.
