This reminds me of WWE's "Sign Guy", except for the fact that he was a real fan.

He would always go to WWE shows across the US in a blue shirt and a red hat, would always be in the front row to be on camera, and would always have hilariously clever signs. Eventually people started to notice him and dubbed him Sign Guy. I think his wife died and he was on Deal or No Deal, and wound up winning a lot of money. The money he made between the two is how he affords to travel across the US and buy tickets to Raw.

He has a MySpace page that usually tells which shows he's going to attend. I hear he's gotten a chance to meet a lot of the wrestlers from winding up on the same planes as them. He's been in WWE magazine, was in Batista's book, and is rumoured to be guest hosting RAW in the future.

Cherry Helmet Sign Guy

I'm honestly wondering, does anyone know this guy? Does he have a full time job or is he 'special'. Or is he just the most intense hockey fan.

I swear he gets almost as many cut angles as Brian Burke.

Yeah, he was there. That'd be annoying to sit behind.

I'm sure he is some millionaire who just loves hockey, so he goes to all the games internationally. Is he ever seen at any NHL games?

Do you mean the guy that wears the Canadian flag cape and has a light attached to his helmet?

I noticed he has a laminate pass that no other fans seem to have, maybe he is hired to be there for morale?

Wasn't it determined in the last thread about him that he was a "fan for hire"?

He's a riders fan as well. He got a **** load of tv time during last year's CFL season.

I want to know how the hell he gets all these tickets.

A paid fan? What the...?

I'll be a paid fan. You don't even have to pay me, just make sure my beer is free and I'll be at any game you want me to be.

I'll even wear a dress.

At first I thought he was Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys, but upon closer inspection he's not. I like him better than that Cameron Hughes guy: http://www.mynameiscameronhughes.com/mynameis.php?id=1
