sweet deal, i wonder if any of the reporters will end up talking to them about what they did over the break, i wonder who went away for the week and who just relaxed around the city or went home.

#Rangers recall Johnson and assign Valiquette. Really thought Valley may have gotten a shot to redeem himself. The goalie-go-round resumes!

I know I am also updating at @thenyrangers, but to repeat, Michael Del Zotto not practicing with #Rangers teammates, still sidelined

It's been 12 days since MDZ was cut by Malkin's skate. Still time before the Rangers game next Tuesday.

No... noooo! Please.... noooo! Not more Rangers getting slaughtered. What is done to them by playoff teams more closely resembles child abuse than hockey.

Looks like Artem Anisimov might be sporting a tan from the break, unless he's just red from all the skating today!

As such, Lundqvist will return to New York to join his non-Olympic teammates in workouts that commenced on Wednesday, though it is unclear when he will get back on the ice. Complications caused by the snowstorm may prevent his return until tomorrow or Sunday.

There is no NHL regulation mandating when players are obligated to return to their respective teams upon elimination, though clubs have generally given their players until 5 p.m. the day following their final Olympic game to report.

Under adopted NHL guidelines, players on teams that have advanced to today's semifinals -- U.S. vs. Finland followed by Canada vs. Slovakia -- will be permitted to remain in Vancouver through Sunday's closing ceremonies.

Read Elias and Kovalchuk are going to meet up with the Devils in San Jose rather than fly to New Jersey and then fly to San Jose.

Lundqvist might as well meet the team in Ottawa.

If he's not getting back till sunday then there's really no point flying back to new york..

Not to mention the article doesn't make sense. Of COURSE players who advanced to today have to stay past today. Nobody's going home today. You either lose and play for the bronze or win and play for the gold.

Plus I'm sure a player like Lundqvist would not be told no if he asked to stay till the end.

MDZ is skating this morning. He probably had the stitched removed yesterday.

The King is back.

Auld is skating today too.
