Ryan Miller's ties with the Bay Area, and the Sharks

In case none of you knew, Miller lived out here for two years and was a Santa Clara Blackhawk. He was also part of a youth movement to bring a franchise to the Bay.

That's actually pretty awesome. I played at Eastridge as a kid and my sister took figure skating lessons there. Nice!

I actually think they did interviewed him a few years ago when the Sabres were in town. It might have even been a Shark Byte where they spoke about this. I think he actually went door to door collecting signatures or something like that.

Reason #48129 why Ryan Miller is my favorite non-Shark, and my number one pipe dream to be on the Sharks. Sighhhhh too bad it will never happen.

Is he a free agent? The guy obviously needs to come back to SJ.

I was expecting this to be a six-degrees kind of stretch, but that's actually cool to know.

RIP Eastridge rink

Hala... uhh, I mean, Greiss, Mitchell, 2nd <-> Miller

I'm sure this is the deal Buffalo has been looking for.

Well, i'd love to have Miller in teal. Probally cost us half our top players and or all of the top prospect pool
