Mike Milbury: "Russians are Eurotrash" ["They Brought Their Eurotrash game no heart"]

Please tell me this results in his career ending.

I never want to see this man again.

Too many bad memories.

That isn't what he said, he said they "brought their eurotrash game". Context is decisive.

I was just going to post something about this.

I sincerely that comment hope this ends his career in the broadcast booth.

What a classless, unprofessional thing to say.

Jeremy Roenick looked like Mike Myers after Kanye West's comment about Bush there.

Milbury is such a moron. You can't say that **** anywhere, especially the Olympics.

Might want to edit the title before people think that's what he actually said.

Mike Milbury and JR's postgame comments

i'm sure this thread won't go well but their hatred of anything Russia was totally obvious.

neither of them liked the Semin hit (apparently you don't check people with 3 minutes left). then they basically praised Boyle for the slewfoot.

then Milbury chastised the Russians or bringing their "Euro-Trash" game. really?

are these 2 idiots the best NBC can do? i'd prefer Jack Edwards at this point.

mods if this thread gets out of hand i apologize and feel free to lock.

So players playing in Europe are "eurotrash" then. Much better.

Well, at least Milbury realizes Russia is European, unlike some of our posters.

Just end this thread already, especially after this truthful post.

It can't amount to anything good.

JR looked shocked. He didn't agree and say Eurotrash he agreed to the principle of what was being said

To even use the word "eurotrash" in that context is inappropriate. It's a derogatory term that shouldn't be said.

It's like saying "the Americans brought their white trash game tonight."

This is gonna go the way of "crapitals", i.e. I doubt it will amount to much.

He was an awful GM but I dont mind him doing commentary. JR was getting a little annoying though. "I talked to Ovie a few days ago, and I asked him if he was afraid of facing Canada. He replied "No, not at all" but I could tell there was a LITTLE hesitation there." This after they were 4-1 down

I think what Milbury was trying to say is that the russians didn't play well.
