So wait ... we lost in OT. Does that mean we get 1/2 or 1/3 of a gold medal?

Good point. I guess Canada should get 2/3 of the gold, and US should get 1/3 (2 pts vs 1 pt) ...

Have you seen those crooked gold medals? Supposed to be "Wavy," but they look god-awful to me.

I'm SO proud of our boys. Definitely going to get a massive print of the 4 Sharks with their golds made up.

Speaking of, someone with more internet skillz than me should find and link us to that.

LOVE IT! O' CANADA!

Of all guys to score the OT winner, it had to be Crosby.

I think I would have rather seen even Perry score the winner over Crosby.

Now we get to hear about how Crosby carried Canada, ha.

No shame for the USA here. I just cannot believe it ended the way it did. The worst possible outcome to me. I would have rather have it ended 2-1 than see that.

Perry, Pronger, Morrow, or Getzlaf would have been preferable.

The Crosby worship is going to be off the charts. Gag.

Great tournament for both US and Canada.

I would have liked to see Thornton play better. He played decent the first few games, but was terrible in the last two games. Wondering if he's hurt or it's just another example of him faltering in pressure games.

The rest of the Sharks played solid.

Random question, I know, but do all the Sharks and Devils now share the same plane tonight to San Jose? That's be an interesting plane ride.

They're going to push Brodeur down the stairs when the plane lands.

Why is everyone holding broccoli in the medal shot?

They need their fiber.

It sucks that players like Fleury and Bergeron got awarded gold. One player didn't play at all, the other was useless. I wish St Louis would be there in place of Bergeron.

Love Joe Pavelski but the guy was supposed to be our big second line center and was hardly noticeable during the last stretch of this tournament.

He was pretty much one of the reasons they tied it

He could have played better but his linemate was useless.

I thought Pavelski played one of his better games of the tourney today.
