I suspect that most folks would have Budish, Ellis, Roussel, and Beck in the next four slots in some order, but it's not an easy decision from there. I'm going to go with Roussel because of his versatility.
Not me. At this point it's time to start mentioning those who aren't really prospects because they already play in the NHL. The others with the vaunted "upside" are too far away.
So for me it's O'Reiily, or Sulzer, or Geoffrion. Even though Geoffrion will have to also spend a year in the AHL. Or I may switch those around. Can't decide. Probably O'Reilly. I think he can play. I don't think any of those three have the upside of a Budish, but Budish may not get there. Roussel is very intriguing, bugt I don't know him. Hard to say, plus I take a little bit off if the prospect is further out.
Ryan Ellis has fallen and Zach Budish has proven his knee is ok and he can play at least decently. Ill go for Budish right now.
Same. Budish is a top 20 pick last season if his knee wasn't messed up. I have to pick Budish over Ellis because I still don't like the pick and I think his performance has backed up my hesitation to get too high on him.
