The Russian's have really been vocal in these Olympics. First, complaining about the food being served at Vancouver, and the rooms having no furniture and how their televisions weren't even on stands. Second, that Russian figure skater complaining that the American dude shouldn't have won gold. Now the Russian media is accusing the Canadian team of duping?
I know, that was funny... Oh well he has to take that up with the skating body... I do kind of see his point about the judges rewarding 'safe' performances over ones where the skater tries more difficult jumps, but of course I only pay attention once every four years so idk

Stop it!
One trashy writer counts as "the Russian media" in your mind?

For some reason that really irked me. If you don't like the food IOC or Vanoc provides, go out and eat somewhere in the city or cook for yourselves. They should have told them to eat ****!

It'd stupid to generalize, I know, but I can kind of relate it to what my friend was telling me the other day. He spent last week on a multi-million dollar yacht as a guest of his friend's rich family (*******) and he was asking the servants how the rich people, who rent the yacht, treat them and apparently the servants were saying that everyone treats them well except the Russians. I guess the Russians are always complaining about food, their sheets not being ironed properly and the servants taking too long to fulfill their duties, among other things. Not implying anything, of course. Just find it funny that, after hearing about my friend's conversation, it was the Russians who complained in Vancouver.
It's not a coincidence that England and Russia have been by far the biggest whiners and critics about these Olympics considering they have the next two. It's all about lowering expectations as much as possible for themselves IMO.

Coincidence? TV broadcasting and organization were pathetic, what coincidence are you talking about? You might not know about it because you haven't watched/followed biathlon for example. It was lame, just lame.
