Did you develop any new Man-crushes @ Vancouver '10?

Pat Kane!

If you have a specialist, you want that specialist to be the best at what he is doing. And I be darned if this little kid isn't up there with everyone else in his cathegory. Nobody can haggle in a taxi like he can! Nah I am just kidding, nobody can open up a defense like he can.

Sure he doesn't have the other dimensions Sidney, AO and Malkin have.

Nah, I really like him. From my point of view, his tournament was more impressive then Toews. Like what did Toews show again? That he is MFing smart and that he have a tremendous amount of clutch in him. Its with players like him a great team wins a cup. No doubt. But, does he make a mediocre team great? Nope, I don't think that.

Not a man-crush but I didn't have the same kind of respect to Patrick Kanes game as I have now. Great player.

Shea Weber,

And him.

In the NHL some of these players don't get enough attention. I mean, how many miles of text have been written about Dion Phaneuf the last years? I've barely read a word about Shea Weber since he turend pro.

Very underrated player. I think he is up there for sure with the top 5 offensive minded D's in the league. Don't get a lot of attention though.

In the World Cup in 2002, I think he was the best D in the entire tournament. He seems to step up the better the level of play becomes.

Bill McCreary. The guy was an absolute beast out there in the gold medal game.

No, but I now have more respect for Chris Drury. I just wish he'd always play like that.

Seriously, how is this guy one of the best defensemen in the NHL. I thought he was terrible pretty much the whole tournament.

Since he left Pittsburgh I forgot how great Ryan Malone is. He is always willing to do the dirty work and little things to help a team win.

I thought the USA defense was great (with the exception of Ryan Whitney). I really liked both Johnsons, Suter, and Gleason. Also a special shout out to my boy Orpik who I thought played a monster tourny. He hit everything that moved.

Being a fan of The Pens and living on the east coast I dont get to see players like Kessler, Backes, or Pavelski very often and I came away very impressed.

Knew that Parise was a beast already but he continued to prove it.

As far as goalies, Hiller and Miller were both great.

For Canada, Doughty and Webber are both amazing on the back end and Toews was a beast on both ends of the ice.

Kane and Suter for me.

On another note, Gleason shouldn't have even sniffed the Olympics. ****, he was brutal

______________

Mancrush developed for me for Erik Johnson. I also developed more respect for David Krejci, who I really only hated because he was a Bruin. He looked dangerous.
Zach Parise. I didn't hate him before, but I thought he might be a little overrated. He's the real deal.

I was a fan of Toews before, but watching him in this tournament has made him one of my favourite NHL players. Even with miniscule minutes holding down his offensive production, the guy was our best forward.
