As can I, but they are going to be so ****ed cap-wise that they will lose some of their depth. It's their depth that makes them dangerous, IMO.

Aaron Palushaj just went to Montreal for Matt D'Agostini. Interesting.

It turned into a major lawsuit. Supposedly, a patron in a bar smashed a bottle and threatened to slice the jugular of Mellanby's friend. Mellanby tried to play peacemaker and had tendons slashed. The bar had to pay big bucks.

Hard to tell.

I would give up good assets for Vokoun.

If the asking price for Roloson/Biron is too steep...I wouldn't bother. I don't see either guy making the current team significantly better to take make that payment.

Disagree. They will have to sacrifice a few bodies, but with Vokoun they are one of the top teams in the West. Period.

And Chicago has some quality players in their system, especially on defense. I see them trying to move Campbell at some point.

The Blackhawks are insanely good right now.

I think their depth makes them dangerous right now. I think they've got enough of it where they could reasonably get Vokoun and still come out with a really good defense or offense, or even just a slightly more diluted team in general.

Reminds me of "Stand By Me." Or, Stephen King's "The Body" if you're talking about the book.

That's right, I'd thought it was a fight but wasn't sure if it was a bottle or if the other guy had a knife.

When Morris was young one of the EASports NHL games loved him, if you played franchise, one year in they boosted him up to like a 95. It was crazy.

Right. This year with Vokoun, they would dangerous. Really dangerous.

However, moving forward (after this current season)...they quite simply are ****ed.

If you want a quality goalie you need to give up quality. I wouldn’t trade carter 1 for 1 as florida would need to add something. A roster forward, no slop, and a pick or prospect. Not sure what the flyers would need to add for vokoun and Horton/Weiss. Carter and what else for that package? I also wonder to maybe motivate hartnell if shooter would ask him to waive his ntc, even though there may not be a deal on the table?

Yeah, except poor Chris died.

I always loved how the movie was all sunshine-and-kitties with them standing up to Ace & his boys, but in the story you hear about the retaliation.

Any Flyer Fans out there, I highly recmmend :Full Spectrum by Jay Greenberg. Highly detailed (I mean detailed. Almsot makes u feel like you were there. When the older posters bring stuff up like the Kurri trade it makes me think I was there when I wasnt) history of the Flyers from the mid 60's until their final game at the Spectrum.
