Dubinsky on the block (Garrioch)

From Bruce Garrioch

Quote:
NHL executives are convinced the New York Rangers are up to something and the name of C Brandon Dubinsky has been whispered around the trade market. Worth watching ...
http://www.ottawasun.com/sports/hock.../12873211.html

Package him with Girardi for a legit top 6 forward(preferably top 3)

Yes, the Panthers are looking to move Nathan Horton, but no, they are not going to get close to what they’re asking in return for a player whose work ethic is, to put it kindly, problematic.

Please dont trade him Sather!! He is a leader, a heart and soul guy, a grinder, and will most likely be a solid second liner.

A guy with a "problematic" work ethic? Well THERE'S something we don't see too often around here! Sign me up!

It's Garrioch...the only thing better would be "thou who shalt not be named" as a source.

Chances are this would be a trade for the sake of making a trade.

I don't want to see it.

At this point Dubi in a package bringing back anything less than Heatley would enfuriate me.

I like the way Dubinsky plays and I would hate to see him leave but if the return is right you do what you must.

If Gretzky can be traded, anyone can be traded.

If he is going to move Dubinsky I have to ask why he didn't move him for Heatley. So in my mind, if the Rangers get anything less than a Heatley type player they lose the deal.

unfortunately, that ship has sailed. I could only imagine how different this team would be with Heatley instead of Dubi.

I'd trade Dubinsky in a package for Weiss.

I noticed people bring up the Dubinsky for Heatley thing whenever trade rumors pop up, but remind me how we were going to fit Heatley under the cap again? I don't recall Ottawa ever talking about taking Rozi or Redden, so wasnt it between Gaborik and Heatley?
