Like in many other examples (inexcusable & unexcusable), "Le Canadien de Montréal" is as valid as "Les Canadiens de Montréal", regardless of the language, since it's a trademark anyways.

Do you really care? I mean this is an Eklund thread

I think Moreau will surprise a few people if he gets traded - he's always been a gritty heart-and-soul guy, it's just that his time is up in Edmonton. I think that once he gets away to a new team, where he's not thecaptainethanmoreau, and can just go out and have fun again, he'll be an asset to some club. Believe it or not, he has shown flashes of not-suck this year at points

Crap I thought it said "Morrow".

Why would you make a big pitch for Moreau?

The words "big pitch" and "Moreau" don't belong in the same sentence.

I don't know but considering that Gauthier gave a 2nd for Dominic Moore......i'm scared.

I guess i should just be thankful that it's from Eklund

To be fair 5+ years ago i would have welcomed Moreau with open arms. He was a great 3rd liner and also a great leader/heart and soul/team player.

Unfortunately it seems that he never was the same after that streak of injuries he suffered from 2006 to 2009. He clearly lost a step and if you factor age as well then you can only notice that he's past his prime and on the decline.

I hope the Kings get him. He can be a great edition to the bottom 6 and add a new presence to the leadership.

As an Oilers fan I just want to say to all fans of the Kings and Canadien(s) and any other fans of teams interested in Moreau that Ethan has been by FAR our best player this year and has shows exceptional leadership, drive and desire in the face of adversity this season. He has shows exemplary composure and would be an asset to any team he plays on. It will be a shame to see a player as great and as valuable as The Great Ethan Moreau depart Edmonton but I know it's time he moves on and spreads his vast leadership skills to another team and leads them to as much success as he's had in Edmonton in his years here. He will be missed but never forgotten.

i remember how effective moreau was during the cup run, and i honestly don't know what happened to him

I truly believe Moreau has been trying to do too much on a terrible team, Moreau to LA makes some sense based on his history with a few of the players in LA, i could see him going there...but for what?

LA is blessed with so many exceptional prospects, where do they start? what kind of return will someone like moreau get?

no, that would be more like a palmball, you know, kind of like a palm to the face
