And...remember folks. Keep discussion civil. Emotions might run high, but there will be zero tolerance for baiting, flaming, trolling, etc.

A threeway. This one could get interesting...

But seriously it's going to be a hard one. I have an image that Vokoun just gets better the more shots he faces and this Finnish team could be the opponents goalies dream, hopefully today it will become a nightmare. Well atleast Nummelin and Kukkonen are back in action. Puistola will be out and Hietanen is a questionmark. Rinne will be starting for Finland.

No! After we are done with Sochi we might let you win one game in the EHT.

I see Hietanen will play in the third defensive pairing with Kukkonen. Good to see him back. I felt horrible when i thought woodchuck ended his tournament. He played solid before the injury.

This marks the first game in which three teams play. The russians will sit out at the homeside left centre drinking vodka and smoking cigars.

This will be a close game but Aaltonen gets it going and Finland wins over the Czechs 3-2.

Oh. I am fine either way. They're pretty much at the same level and both have had good showings.

Russian flag in the opening post.

As for the game, it's about 50-50. One thing won't change though. The thread "Fire Jukka Jalonen" in jatkoaika.com will be in flames no matter what the outcome.

There's also a complete russian roster; as well as the finnish and czech ones.

I hope Petteri Nummelin plays in his best form and Komarov as well as against USA. If Nummelin plays well the Finns have good chances to win the game.

I know it is not only one player there are 19 others who has to play well but normally if Nummelin plays well the team also plays well.

And then hopefully Pekka Rinne is solid and with some extra good saves no blackouts then they should win it.

D-pairings a bit different and Kapanen on the Hytönen line... Some interesting juggling.

Me too. He is worth it. He is a smart player though and takes fewer riskes in this competition. He had a couple of tries against denmark which looked good. One really good close to a breakaway...
