And...remember folks. Keep discussion civil. Emotions might run high, but there will be zero tolerance for baiting, flaming, trolling, etc.

Oh, I'm emotional, alright. No way I'm home from work before 6 p.m... That's about the start of the 3rd period.

OK. No problems.

But, please tell me, why are you even bothering with this GDT?

Who are we playing in the semi-final? Does anyone know?

This is going to be fantastic. I'm afraid the dream stops here, with a clear Swedish victory.

But i really hope they can pull it off, that would be the greatest achievement since 92

This is where the saga of Denmarks huge year ends. In a huge ways. Getting lit up big time by sweden. I am gonna say 6-1!

Denmark's gonna struggle to re-find the top gear they haven't been in since the first period against Slovakia. I say 4-1 Sweden. I just want a good performance from the boys, etc. etc.

I hope we can stay focused all game and send Denmark home but like ive said earlier, if we are going out, i want it to be to the danes, not the Czechs, russians, finns etc. So if we win today, we better win the whole tournament.

No can do - reporting on arrears must get done today (yes, I have the most boring job in the world). I've got the PVR going, will watch on time-delay.

Wow not allot of hope for DK

I personally do not think the Swedes are THAT much better, I mean I think we will loose, but total destruction, NAH.

To me a bit arrogant!

Anywho, another thread about the QF's Allot of people seem to think that the Swedes are better than the danes at almost everything That is history, as the Danes now are equal or better in most sports!

A danish newspaper even did an article about it

Sorry, I just had to say it

i feel that denmark will show up big time once again, but still lose this game by a slight margin.

Haha this is simply not true. I'll agree on football (only slightly), handball, becykle and badminton. Sweden is superior in most other sports.

On topic:
Sweden win 3-1, goals from OEL, Mårtensson and Omark.

Bul...ting
Beeing happy (WC here)
(in Denmark all of the above is sport)

And at the moment Denmark is best in:
Mens tabeltennis
Speedway
(football: we are going to WC, were are you going)

Curling seems equal

And despite of this micro war i am proud to be scandinavian

Football is historically and up to this day equal. You can't say that you are better in football and say that curling is equal (we got an olympic gold, where were you?)

Anyway, just having a laugh. I like Denmark, hell, I practically live there (Skåne).

Haha I read the article in the danish paper. It said Denmark was better in tennis, while we might've had Borg, Wilander and Edberg, they have Caroline Wozniacki (sp?), I don't think Söderling was even mentioned.

You're good at making movies though, I'll give you that

Sweden will win this match but I don't expect a blowout. A tight 1st period and then Sweden will start taking over bit by bit.

The only thing that Denmark have a long history of being better than Sweden at is brewing beer. We are superior in every other aspect.

And to keep the banter going, a little contribution from our kind (and funny) neighbours in Norway:

And something else that only Swedish and Norwegian speakers will understand:
