MY 2010 Olympic final MVP - Chris Pronger. Pick yours.

Write in this thread who you thought was the final MVP and also why, otherwise you canīt write it here:

My choice is Chris Pronger. My arguments are that he shut down the entire ice in this final. USA could have scored 3-4 more goals if someone else had his minutes. He just blocked everything, pucks, bodies, along the boards, he closed down everything. Just a defensive superstar performance. He simply was the best in Team Canada when it mattered the most once again.

Edit: I am talking about final game MVP.

Johnathon Toews and Zach Parise.

Toews for being the best Canadian at both ends of the rink, and Parise for taking his team on his shoulders, and IMO being the best player on the ice.

Scott Niedermayer.

He looked so calm and played extremely well at both ends. Great to see an old timer like him put on a clinic for our young d-men.

I thought Rick Nash had a good game, I'll go with him.

I think he means for just the gold medal game. My pick for that would be Toews.

Nash was great out there today, but i still vote for niedermayer. Miller is a close second.

Oh, the Gold medal game?

Definitely Scotty Neidermeyer. He flat out displayed why he's a winner.

I'm far from a Nash fan, but he was amazing out there. That is the tragedy of Crosby scoring the winner. Everybody will remember Crosby getting the winner, but nobody will remember that Nash was easily the better of the two.

I don't really see how it isn't Miller. He turned a U.S. team that was probably the sixth best in this tournament talent-wise coming in and it took overtime in the gold medal game for them to be eliminated.

Not to say that Canada didn't have some great performances (Toews was probably the best forward in the tournament), but Miller had much more value to the U.S. team than any Canadian player had to Canada. That, to me, signifies MVP.

"Oh no, a person who disagrees with my opinion is an idiot!" Give me a break.

Having said that, I choose Miller haha. Teows and Lu coming in a close second and third respectively. Nash, Parise and Kesler also had great games.
