Schneider and Grabner. A couple of their picks back. Maybe they want Bernier's truculence.

How did McLean last so long as GM of the Blue Jackets??
Phoenix is a good team.

Stick to CBA interpretations and leave attempted comedy to the non-laywers.

Phoenix is 1 point ahead of the Canucks in the standings.

The moves Phoenix have made (Wolski, Morris, Schneider) seem to be moves to help them in a playoff run.

I don't know, Phoenix is pretty good. Their PP is terrible though running at 14.9%. Schneider could be a good fit.

Too bad Gillis doesn't have a 2nd round pick to get a random player.

Morris sucks.

Schneider wont do too much.

Wolski is streaky, but yes that is a nice trade.

Hapern went for Teddy Purcell and a 3rd round pick, Belanger went for a 2nd. These are significant prices for depth guys. Wow.

I'll tell you what - I know Schneider fell out of favour here, but I'd rather have him in top six than Nolan Baumgartner.

Belanger would have been a perfect hit -- good at both ends of the ice and in the face-off circle.

Bernier + 1st

Those who saying OMGZ a 1st!! - this draft sucks and if all goes well we'll have a pretty late first rounder.

Keep in mind - he wont want Schneider as he has his 'monster'. Grabner might be interesting to him, but I don't feel we should give him up. Shiro could be interesting... but again, not quite ready to kick him to the curb. Bernier bring some stuff Brukie likes to the table.

Also those saying he would never go for that, he wants the world for Kabs.... he also wanted a second and a quality prospect for Poni - he got some 'meh' prospect and a 5th....
