For 2 teams currently sitting in a playoff spot, this move is confusing..

Colorado must really think Wolski is going to be a ***** to re-sign.

If the Oilers are going to make any moves I wouldn't be surprised to see them trickle in during that hour after the deadline has passed. The more trades that are made the better our chances are of moving some veterans.

Did they make another move today? Because adding Morris is a marginal improvement at best.

No kidding, they won that deal, imo.

I have this feeling that the Oilers deal(s), will come down as a bunch in a row.

*fingers crossed*

Still can't see how Avs make this deal now. Their second leading scorer for someone that is talking about quiting hockey? Sure the value is there, but you make this trade if you are a seller not a buyer.

There goes the Cogs for Mueller rumor. Judging by the lack of activity, I doubt we make any moves by the end of the day. Maybe Pies for a 7th or something.

They traded Mueller and Porter for Wolski.

They usually do, and are usually right at the deadline.

Jordan Owens for Kriz Newbury. What in the hell is going on? These are deals that could've been made weeks ago.

If that's the case, is it even worth it? I'd almost rather keep him and sign him to a cheap 1 year deal in the summer.

I like how Eklund is being pretty conservative today.

Meh.

Deal him for anything and make the call on July 1.

I said earlier he isn't exactly the best. Considering the team 1260 is doing 12 hours of hockey today you would think they would have someone that would be tweeting for them.

Canucks acquire Yan Statsney (sp). Didn't know he was still playing.

If your products are all past their expiration date, makes it a tough sell.

He might be and like I said Colorado got good value for Wolski, but buyer's generally don't make these type of trades. This will put a big hole in Colorado for the now.
