He's a good guy who was brought up in a good home. There is nothing wrong with his character, he just needs to settle down - and as Chain mentioned - start treating the game as a responsibility as opposed to the high life.
talk his wife into staying in the area !!!

And that Torres is now our leading goal scorer?

I assume he's talking about the 2nd. But I think it's pretty clear that 2nd round picks don't mean nearly as much to NHL GMs as they do to many HFBoards posters.

Love this move. Love it.

Exactly the type of player we need.

Would love to see him on a line with Roy....

At worst, Torres-Goose-Grier is one HELL of a grind line.

Second round pick to Columbus is not the Sabres' pick, it's the one they got from Vancouver for Steve Bernier.

Yep, Buffalo's pick in the 2nd round went to San Jose in the Rivet deal IIRC.

Torres was clutch down the stretch for the Jackets last season, scoring a few GWGs to get the team in the playoffs for the first time, and for that he had my graditude. For the last two months or so he's been playing on the second line with Brassard and Voracek, and as evidence of his goal total, he knows how to convert a pass. I look forward to seeing how he does the rest of the season with the Sabres and in the playoffs.

Wouldn't mind if Regier tried to lock Torres up right away, say, 3 years at 2.5 million per?
