Capacity in Gelsenkirchen increased to 76,152

MUNICH – The 2010 IIHF World Championship Organizing Committee announced that the capacity for the opening game between USA and Germany has been increased to 76,152 because of the massive fan interest.

So much for hockey being a fading sport in Germany. 76,000 at a hockey game is awesome.

Wow, that is awesome. It is really a shame that this tournament doesn't even register in Canada.

Hopefully we can duplicate what Sweden did and snag a double gold!
